DESCRIPTION

T-Connect Lesotho is seeking a skilled and diplomatic Stakeholder Relations Manager to lead our public relations, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder communication efforts. This role is critical in maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies (including LCA), community leaders, and media platforms. The ideal candidate will serve as the company’s spokesperson and liaison, representing our mission to expand digital inclusion and satellite internet access across the Kingdom of Lesotho.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with key government departments, regulators, and institutional stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with telecommunications and internet service regulations, particularly those from the Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA).

  • Develop and execute public affairs strategies to support the company’s commercial and social objectives.

  • Represent the company at government, community, and media events.

  • Manage media relations and public messaging in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Prepare policy briefs, public statements, and regulatory filings as needed.

  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence and timely reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Political Science, Communications, Law, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in stakeholder relations, government affairs, regulatory liaison, or public policy.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and public sector engagement in Lesotho.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sesotho.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-level relationships and sensitive communications.

  • Familiarity with the ICT or telecommunications sector is a strong advantage.
