DESCRIPTION

The Business Manager – Sales & Accounts is responsible for driving product sales and managing client relationships within Lesotho. This role combines direct enterprise sales, account management, partner engagement, and pipeline development, with the ultimate goal of revenue growth and market expansion.

The ideal candidate is a proactive business professional who understands business operations, technology and connectivity solutions and is comfortable managing customer portfolios while pursuing new opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Management

  • Identify and pursue B2B sales opportunities across enterprise, SME, NGO, and government sectors

  • Prepare and deliver client proposals, presentations, and quotations

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, solution design, negotiation, and closing

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

 

Account Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients

  • Build long-term client relationships and drive up selling opportunities

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and contract renewal

  • Resolve client issues in coordination with support and technical teams

 

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and client databases

  • Generate weekly reports on sales pipeline, active accounts, and forecasted revenue

  • Provide competitor intelligence and market feedback

 

Market Development

  • Identify new segments, verticals, and local partnerships for Starlink services

  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and product demos

  • Support Go-To-Market campaigns, local activations, and lead generation initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in sales, account management, or business development (preferably in telecoms, ICT, or connectivity)

  • Proven B2B sales record with demonstrable client management skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Experience using CRM systems
